South Mesa Trailhead, Boulder Colorado
My other most popular and favorite Fall family picture location is South Mesa Trailhead in Boulder, Colorado. Grand mountain views with a variety prop backgrounds (rustic wooden fence, large wooden bridge, boulders, historic homestead) these can all be incorporated into the pic for a natural look. This is a great place for nervous children, teenagers or men that don’t know how to pose or what to do with their bodies or hands. Lean against a fence post, sit on a boulder or walk across the bridge, run across the meadow it makes them feel more comfortable and relaxed!
This area is known for hiking, photography and to enjoy the great outdoors! The landscape has pleasing mix of rolling natural grass fields, hilly pine trees, wildflower and birds. The adventure starts right away as you cross 2 bridges over the babbling South Mesa Creek. In the Springtime, keep your eyes peeled for domestic irises planted by homesteaders over 100 years ago!

In addition I capture these images with expert lighting with a combination of natural light and strobe lighting so the images pop with light, clarity and brilliance.
